During the 1990s, Cabramatta became known as Australia’s heroin capital. The drug trade and gangs including the Vietnamese-led 5T brought violence and extortion to a community building a new life in Sydney. This imagined street scene draws on that troubled era, with worn poster colours and a quiet 5T reference.
